Ap Gyeltshen’s farm

General Information

Ap Gyeltshen, a progressive farmer from Sopsokha village in Punakha District. He cultivates paddy, maize, vegetable crops and few fruit trees in his 2.5 acres scattered farmland. The farm is located near the riverbank of Toeprong chu. He uses both organic and chemical fertilizers. He uses an integrated farming approach cultivating both crops and rearing cattle.

The farmer is not using any smart farming technology to grow vegetable and crops in his farm.

He also wishes to use some technology to protect his farmland from the pests, disease and wild animals.
