General Information
The Mae Tha Sustainable Agriculture Cooperative (MTSAC) was established on 15 June 2000 and received government registration as cooperative on 29 January 2001. They produce agricultural products to several markets. Farmers who join this community live in Mae tha sub-district. Most members of this community are young farmers who are descendants of farmers in Mae tha sub-district. Their goal is self-reliance on sustainable agriculture. They change chemical agriculture to organic agriculture to meet sustainability of resources usage, farmer’s health, and consumer’s health.
