Region/Province : Chiang Mai province

Topography  The Chiang Mai area is on average at 300 m (1,000 ft) elevation, and surrounded by the mountain ranges of the Thai highlands.

 Place of the pilot: Chang Khlan Sub-district

 

Pilot Type : Organic production and Greenhouse

Product(s) : Vegetable and Fruit

Objective(s) : To control resource usage (water, fertilizer, pesticides), and to improve quality (decrease pesticide residuals, etc.)

Region/Province : Khon Kaen province

Topography : Khon Kaen is on the Khorat Plateau, and is the center of the mid-northeastern provincial group of Thailand, according to the Thai government, and on average at 162 m (531 ft) elevation. 

Place of the pilot: Chutchaingmee organic farmer’s enterprise

 Pilot Type : Organic beef comfort housing system under the tropical humid conditions
 

Product(s) : Meat (beef cattle)

Objective(s) : To increase beef cattle productivity and sustainability, and to control resource usage (water, energy using solar cell system)

Country : Thailand

Region/Province : Mahasarakham province

Topography : Only in the north and east are there small hills. The province is between 130 and 230 m above sea level.

Place of the pilot: Nong Hoi, Kosumphisai

 

Pilot Type : Organic production, Greenhouse, Working condition, and Product health

Product(s) : Vegetable/Rice/Fruits

Objective(s) : To increase productivity, to control resource usage (water, fertilizer, pesticide), and to improve quality (decrease pesticide residuals, etc.)
