Objective(s): To control resource usage (water, fertilizer, pesticides), and to improve quality (decrease pesticide residuals, etc.)

1 Recruit farmers to participate the training

2 The first physical workshop: introduction to Smart farming and introduction to E-learning platform usage

3 Workshop at the Smart Farm Lab

4 Self learning via E-learning platform (480 minutes within 4-8 weeks)

5 The second physical workshop: discussion, assessment and feedback

  • Hybridge/Virtual Training Plan

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we proposed to organize training into hybridge/virtual for social distancing.

Two main activities:

1 Train the trainers

  • Virtual field trip activity
  • Smart farmers (G2) are trained to use the online training equipment and presentation skill.
